Carousel Module is a module that builds a dynamic bar with thumbnails from your images, making the review of your photo/video files more enjoyable. It keeps your visitors engaged in the process of pictures reviewing, helps to separate some certain images amoung other and just make your Joomla! site more attractive

What does it offer?

  • an option to choose what images exactly you want to display in the carousel - newest/popular/random;
  • option to select all images or definite gallery;
  • possibility to set definite images you want to display (using 'Images id' field)
  • click on a thumbnail and the full size content fades in the lightbox with all relevant information about the photo/video file below;
  • option to set the quantity of fetched and displayed images - amount of images in the carousel itself and those that are visible on the page accordingly (if you want to make the carousel wider just increase the number of displayed images);
  • two layouts of the module - horizontal and vertical - what makes the module very flexible in usage;
  • arrows display - yes/no option;
  • nice and simple design makes the module suitable for any websites themes;
  • compatible with all the modern browsers: FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari, IE

Step-by-step Documentation

Part 1. How to Install

Please log into your site Joomla Administration and click on Extension Manager.

Click on Overview button and select the plugin to upload.

If you see the successfull installing message (like below), it means that you've done everything properly.

Part 2. How to Use

Please go to Entensions >> Module Manager.

Find FW Gallery Carousel using the Filter and click on the red button in order to enable the module and press on the module's title.

Then please select the module position for FW Gallery Carousel Module and customize Advanced Options.

Last thing you have to set is Menu Assignment (where the module should be displayed).
