Hi friends!

At last we have finished hard work with FW Real Estate Pro update and our powerful version 1.7.2 is ready for release! You will be really surprised to see how much improved our Joomla real estate component is now! Well, let's demonstrate its new powerful features.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please do not hurry to update the component and read this carefully before you do that. We do not advise you to upgrade:

1. If you don't have backup of your web site before updating. As soon as you install the new version you will loose the previous version. The installation of the previous version again will not return the previous version on your web site. It means that if you don't like the new features of the new version, you won't be able to return the previous version without adding your properties data from a scratch.
2. If you have modified the component and changed its source code. The new version will remove all the changes you made before.
   

Front-end improvements

 

 

 

1. Improved layout and design

This is the first feature you will notice for sure after upgrading. Instead of simple icons and buttons the component has tabs with stylish icons on the coloured background.

 

 

 

 

2. Number of photos icon

Now you can show your visitors how many photos every property has in its gallery. This feature can be a great advantage for you site visitors who usually prefer to click on those listings that have more photos! We are sure you will enjoy it!

 

 

3. New photo gallery - slider & separate gallery

We've decided to improve FW Real Estate Pro photo gallery with a slider below main image of a property and separate tab with a photo gallery that includes preview images under the largest image. We think that this solution will be more helpful for site visitors than interior and exterior galleries in the previous versions. The lightbox function still remains on all properties listing view page.

Back-end improvements

 

1. New layout and design

 

The version 1.7.2 is greatly improved inside as well! We've added colours, new design for default images, helpers to every field. The previous layout has been considerably simplified. Now the inside part of our product became much more usable and we hope you will appreciate it!

 

 

 

 

 

2."Add value" feature

 

Now you can add new values right in the property details page in the back-end of the component. You don't need to leave the page, go to Dictionaries, create and save new values and then go back to the Property page. You can manage this right on your Property page.

 

 

 

 

3. Drop-down list with countries

 

To make it easier for you to fill in the property address fields, we've added drop-down lists with countries. Thus we will reduce probability of errors that can lead to malfunction of search module.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Google Maps back-end integration

 

Sometimes it happens that Google Maps displays incorrect location of the property added. To avoid errors in location displayed on the map, we've added Google Maps right in the back-end of the component. Now you can check the location that will be displayed on he front-end when adding your property and correct it in case of need.

 

 

 

5. Properties new layout

 

There were 10 tabs in Properties section of the component in the previous version (Common information, Property descriptions, Detailed information, Amenities, Valuation, Investment profile, Pictures, Video, Brochure and Meta information). We have reorganised this structure to make it easier to use. In result now you have only 6 tabs: Common Information, Property descriptions, Detailed information, Media, Valuation and Investment profile. Media includes Photos, Brochure and Video.
