In this guide, we will learn how to create a typical Pizzeria restaurant menu with FW Food Menu. Review a final result at Pizzeria demo. To make it easy for your customers to search for meals, it is essential to break your menu into logical sections arranging items sequentially. FW Food Menu allows creating menu sections via categories. Our pizza showcase has one Pizza category, but you can add as many categories as it is predefined by your menu. When configuring a category, pay attention to the following settings:

Now that we have created a Pizza category, let’s add different pizza types on offer to the category. When adding a meal pay attention to the following:

A pizza category is displayed using Menu Layout. The Menu Layout allows displaying all categories with meals on the same page. The meals can be styled using different description/images positions, background images and colors.
In our Pizzeria showcase, we placed meals images on top of descriptions as well as styled them using images backgrounds. To learn how to display the categories with images, do the following.
Make sure to upload a background image that will be displayed for each meal within the category. Once the layout is configured, don’t forget to save your configuration. Once saved, check how the menu is displayed on the front-end.
