In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a tag gallery and manage tags via the tags manager. Creating a tag gallery can be extremely helpful to save your time, eliminating the need to move multiple files between multiple folders.
We will proceed as follows:
First, let’s enable FW Gallery Tag plugin.
Now, let’s locale gallery settings.
Locate Galleries section following Components=>FW Gallery=>Galleries direction.
Click New button.
Now let’s configure a tag gallery.
Locate General tab.
Locate Published field and choose Yes.
Enter Tags Gallery into the Name field.
Locate Parent field and select Top.
If you need to set a cover image:
Locate Cover image field and upload the image you want to put on the cover of your gallery.
Locate Cover video and set it as None.
If you need to set cover video, locate Cover video field:

Go to the Set Gallery By Tags section.
Enter Animals, Autumn, Beach, Bears into the Tags field.
Locate Description section and enter the description of your tag gallery into the editor area.
Click Save button.
As a result, all files having the specified tags are displayed within the Tags Gallery.
FW Gallery Tag Plugin allows to display all tags assigned to your gallery files on one page and manage them from this page. Monitor usage frequency, add, delete, and edit tags using the tags manager.
The plugin enables search by tag functionality allowing to search for files by their tags. It also enables tags import functionality ensuring that all tags coming along with a file get automatically uploaded.
First, let’s learn how to monitor usage frequency:
Locate Tags section with all tags listed with it.
Find Files column. In this column, you can monitor how many times a particular tag is used within your gallery files.
Now, let’s learn how to publish/unpublish tags.
Locate a tag within the tags list.
Click Publish button in the Published column or find Publish/Unpublish buttons at the top of the screen.
Now, let’s add a new tag.
Click New button at the top left section of the screen.
Enter the name of the tag in the Name field.
Enter an alias for a new tag.
Let’s learn how to edit/delete tags.
Locate the needed tag within the list and click on it to edit it.
Locate the tag and check it.
Click a Delete button at the top section of the screen.
