FW Gallery Google images import plugin: configuration and settings

In this tutorial, we will learn how to import images from your Google images account. If you have Front-end manager installed your users will be able to import Google images as well. To learn how to import Google images via front-end manager, review Front-end manager tutorial.

We will proceed as follows:

How to import Google images using FW Gallery Google images import plugin

To learn how to import Google images, do the following.

  1. Enable FW Gallery Google images import plugin. To learn how to enable the plugin, review step 1 of How to configure FW Gallery content plugin tutorial.

As soon as the plugin is activated, you can proceed with images importing. To import images from your Google account, follow the steps below:

  1. Locate Google images import section.

  1. Locate Google images account username textbox and enter JohnSmith into it.

  2. Click Load Google images gallery button. After that, you will be able to select any gallery from your Google albums.

  3. Locate Source Google Images gallery dropdown and choose your Google gallery from the list.

  4. Locate Target FW Gallery dropdown and choose Landscapes from the list. The images will be uploaded to this particular gallery.

  5. Click Import from Google images button. Your screen should look similar to the screenshot below.
