FW Gallery Slideshow module allows to place a custom slideshow of your gallery on any page of your website in a few clicks. In this tutorial, we will learn how to configure a slideshow on the front-end of your website.
We will proceed as follows:
First, let’s enable the slideshow module.
Log in to your administrator panel using your credentials.
Locate Extensions dropdown in the top menu of your Joomla control panel and click on it.
Select Modules menu item from the list and click on it.
Locate FW Gallery slideshow module in the list.
Enable FW Gallery slideshow module if it is not enabled. You can enable FW Gallery slideshow module in either of two ways:
Check the box.
Click Publish/Unpublish button.
Now, let’s configure slideshow module settings.
Check the box.
Click Edit button.
Locate Module tab.
Locate Gallery dropdown and select Wild nature from the list. Thus, all galleries will be displayed as a slideshow.
Locate Qty images textbox and enter 10 into it. Thus, 10 images will be displayed as a slideshow.
Locate Ordering dropdown and select Newst first from the list.
Locate Effect dropdown and select Random.
Locate Slideshow height, px textbox and enter 400 into it. Thus, the size of the slideshow is set.
Locate Show Title section and click Yes. Thus, the title of the slideshow will be displayed.
Mouse over Display Slideshow button and select Yes.
Locate Display Thumbnails field and select Yes.
Go to Display Title field and select Yes.
Locate Display Description field and select Yes.
Locate Display Share field and select Yes.
Locate Position dropdown and select position-2 from the list. Thus, you can set a position where you would like to place the slideshow.
Locate Status dropdown and choose Published from the list. Your screen should look similar to the screenshot below:
Locate Menu Assignment tab.
Locate Module Assignment dropdown and choose On all pages from the list. Thus, the slideshow will be displayed on all pages of your website.
Click Save button. Your screen should look similar to the screenshot below.
Having set all settings for your slideshow, go to the front-end to view the slideshow you have created.
