In this tutorial, we will learn how to enable DISQUS comments for your gallery.

We will proceed as follows:

• How to register your gallery website on DISQUS platform
• How to add DISQUS comments to your gallery website

In order to integrate DISQUS commenting system on your gallery website, you need to register your website on DISQUS platform. To learn how to do this, follow the steps below:

1. Sign Up for Disqus following this link - https://disqus.com/.

2. Locate I want to install Disqus on my site field and click on it.

• Locate Create a new site section.

• Fill in the textboxes similar to the screenshot below and click Create Site button.

• Locate Select Platform tab.

3. Choose Joomla platform.

4. Copy your Disqus shortname. See the picture below.

First, let’s first enable DISQUS comments:

1. Go to the Add-ons section following Components=>FW Gallery=>Add-ons direction.

2. Find FW Gallery DISQUS Comments in the list and enable it. Use add-ons filter to filter add-ons by type.

3. Go to plugin settings following Components=>FW Gallery=>Configuration section.

4. Locate Add-ons tab.

5. Find Commenting system parameters section.

6. Select Disqus commenting system in the corresponding field.

7. Locate Disqus short name textbox and paste your shortname into it.

8. Click Save button.

Once the commenting system is configured, review the comments section at the front-end.
