Adding videos with FW Gallery is hassle-free. You can upload a video to any existing gallery. To learn how to create a gallery, review How to create a gallery tutorial. In this tutorial, we will learn how to add videos to your website using different sources.
We will proceed as follows:
To upload a video, follow the steps below:
Locate Files tab. To locate Files tab, follow steps 2-3 of How to upload images via single image upload tutorial.
Click New video button.
Locate Published label and choose Yes.
Mouse over Name textbox and enter Forest into it.
Locate Gallery dropdown and choose Video gallery from the list. The video will be added to this particular gallery.
Locate Copyright textbox and enter John Smith into it.
Locate Owner dropdown and choose John Smith from the list.
Mouse over Access dropdown and select Public from the list.
Locate Tags label and choose Nature tag. You can view and manage all your tags in the Tags management section following Components=> FW Gallery => Tags direction.
First, let’s learn how to add a video from youtube/vimeo source.
Mouse over Type field and select Youtube.
Locate Video ID and enter Kb8CW3axqRE into it.

Locate Description section and enter your video description into the editor area.
Click Save button. Your screen should look similar to the screenshot below:
Now, let’s learn how to add a video by uploading an mp4 video file to the server with own player.
Mouse over Type field and select Self-hosted.
Locate Video file field and click Choose file button.
Select a video file on your PC and click Upload button.
Locate Video preview image label and click Choose file to select an image file on your PC.
Click Save button. Your screen should look similar to the screenshot below:
